Transom is polished, engine is in & bolted down permanently. I raised it as far as possible within the limits of the transom boot, but it's still lower than the bottom of the hull. I shimmed the mounts so the lower unit is parallel to the hull with the front mount at about 40%. So I have more trim up adjustment than trim down. Outdrive is only temp installed so I could use it to locate the engine. Needs to come off so I can hook up steering cable drum.

Transom seal & anode installed, outdrive permanently on, steering & electric connected. Everything functions (didn't plug lights in to test). Began installing rear fuel tank.
Look what I scored today. Correct 4 bolt cap vintage. Will reseal for a hot spare.

Yeah they didn't make that 4 bolt version long. Gotta love this vintage stuff.

Fuel tank is installed, hoses, selector valve & switch to select which tank quantity installed but not hooked up, need a spool of 16 gauge pink wire. No room for outboard tank hold down brackets so I had to make wood ones & glass them in place.

Looking good. Blower looks good. I guess you will have a separate bilge pump. I struggle with the original version of blower/bilge pump combo.

Yes, a Rule 500 GPH. I replaced the dash toggle switch with an on/off/on so I wouldn't have to drill any new holes.

Beautiful sky and water. Hope you put on your sunscreen! Hot and humid down here in South Carolina! Partly cloudy with showers also. Tom
