Stay healthy all!

Well, we are in the midst of a coronavirus pandemic with plenty of time on our hands now that everything is closed. Look on the bright side - now is the time to focus on those chores around the house - maybe even spend some time with the boat. I'm doing some work on the interior of the 1969 Sportsman - nothing extraordinary - just tidy up and repair loose ends. I had the stern drive off a while back and the upper housing apart. I didn't replace any seals but may do that next winter if they don't leak too bad. 50 year old seals get hard and worn. The ball gears are maybe 30% worn. I have new replacement ball gears but hate to use them as new ones are very expensive. I otherwise marvel at how well made these boats are. They are certainly worth the time and expense.
I hope all are well and safe.
